Laurie Callahan

Laurie Callahan holds a bechelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics (minor in French) from Georgetown University. She has broad experience writing for diverse media, being responsible for public and media relations, and editing publications. Throughout her career – from radio and television programming to feature writing, branding, public relations and social media – she has been committed to providing creative, mission-driven communications in support of strategic goals. Her past positions include serving as a writer/producer for radio (three nationally aired public affairs series); television and film (government projects and segments for AARP’s Modern Maturity program carried by public television stations); director of public relations at Marymount University; and senior communications manager for the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
