Legal Support & Immigration Counseling
We stand with every Afghan, so they are never alone in navigating complex immigration systems.
Afghan refugees across the world—particularly in the United States and neighboring countries—often face legal uncertainty, a lack of information, and even exploitation. ARRO aims to bridge this gap through legal guidance, support, and awareness.
We believe that knowing one’s rights is the first step toward protecting human dignity. That’s why we work alongside a network of volunteer attorneys, legal advisors, and partner organizations to defend the rights of Afghans wherever they may be.
Our Core Legal Support Services:
- In the United States:
- Guidance on asylum applications, humanitarian cases, special visas, and relief-based immigration programs
- Assistance in preparing legal documentation for newly arrived refugees
- Workshops and informational sessions on immigrant rights and U.S. legal processes
- Referrals to immigration lawyers and human rights organizations for legal representation
- Internationally:
- Support for Afghan refugees in countries like Iran, Pakistan, and other high-risk areas with limited access to legal help
- Collaboration with international organizations to defend Afghan rights in camps, border zones, and undocumented communities
- Documentation of human rights violations against Afghan migrants for use in global advocacy and legal platforms
