Advocacy, Media, and International Outreach

We amplify the silenced voices of the Afghan people to the world.

Afghanistan has long been entangled in complex humanitarian, security, political, and cultural crises—but the voices of its people, especially refugees and vulnerable groups, are often drowned out in global silence and indifference.
The Afghan Refugees Rescue Organization (ARRO) is committed to breaking that silence and telling the truth.
To us, advocacy is not merely protest—it is a deliberate, evidence-based, and purposeful process aimed at meaningful change for the dignity of the Afghan people.

Our Key Actions and Programs:

  • Media and Storytelling:
    • Producing and publishing reports, articles, and documentaries on the conditions of refugees and people inside Afghanistan
    • Launching digital awareness campaigns to draw international attention to Afghan issues
    • Engaging in interviews with global media to reflect the struggles, needs, and successes of the Afghan community
  • Advocacy and International Pressure:
    • Participating in summits, conferences, and human rights forums as representatives of the Afghan voice
    • Submitting evidence-based reports to international organizations (e.g., UNHCR, UN Women, Amnesty International)
    • Collaborating with civil society partners to draft statements, petitions, and formal appeals
  • Public Awareness and Empowerment:
    • Organizing workshops, panels, and educational programs on refugee rights, Afghanistan’s crisis, and the global role of solidarity
    • Training young Afghans in advocacy, storytelling, and documentation to become “voices of their generation”
    • Building local and international advocacy networks led by Afghans themselves

Until the truth is heard, justice cannot be served.

We are the bridge between the pain of Afghans and the ears of the world.
